I know it can be difficult to find someone you really feel safe with, who you can trust, who won't judge you. I'd be honored to be that person. I love working with those who identify as poly, LGBTQIA+, and in the kink community. I'm particularly passionate about working with those who have experienced complex trauma and attachment wounds. If you're currently in a place where you're thinking "I don't know if I can do this anymore" or if you sometimes wonder if you're "too broken" to feel better, don't give up. You're not too broken. You are worthy.
My philosophy on therapy is to do what works best for the individual. I see you for who you are and who you hope to grow into. Whether we’re tackling the spiral of intrusive OCD thoughts, the ache of relational misattunement and fears of abandonment, navigating self-harm urges, or the unique challenges of poly-mono and mixed-orientation relationships, I tailor therapy to fit your lived reality. I believe we have the potential to be healed in relationships—ours is no exception. Together we will learn and grow from each other.
I started my academic career with a B.A. and M.A. in English which gave me an immense appreciation for stories, real and imagined. I took that education and taught for 3 years; in that time fell in love with the rich, beautiful capacity for people to heal through story. I was inspired by my students’ strength and courage which led me to obtain my M.S. in Clinical Psychology and my LPC licensure. I've had the honor of working in a variety of settings which has given me the ability to truly meet and honor you where you are at in your own path to healing. Whatever your experience, I promise to meet you with complete acceptance—mind, body, and soul. As a registered yoga teacher (RYT-200) through Yoga Alliance and a Mind Body practitioner, I'm invested in helping you find whole self healing! It's my goal to offer a truly holistic therapy experience.
